Ogio Street Backpack Review

Hey guys!
Here's a short review of a backpack I really like by Ogio.
The Ogio "Street" backpack is really nice because of the many compartments and pockets it has. There's a spot to safely store your laptop, cellphone, and other small things like gum and chapstick. In addition, there's a small front pocket which has a ton of little compartments to store your pens and pencils so you won't have to carry around a pencil case.
Another great feature about this backpack is its ability to store a lot of stuff without looking too bulky, and the material on the exterior and interior is rip-safe and durable.
So if you're looking for a new backpack or a more efficient one, the Ogio "Street" is definitely a good option.

Top European Metal Bands

So even though I love tons of metal here are my absolute favorite ones that are fairly new and that come from Europe that I seriously recommend everyone listen to.

1. Children of Bodom

The first real metal concert I ever attended had this band as a headliner, and it was unbelievable. I was able to witness Finnish metal at its finest, and stared in awe as lead guitaris/singer Alexi Laiho worked his magic on the guitar - which made me consider him one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

2. Ensiferum

I have to mention that one of my favorite genres of metal is Viking/Folk metal, and this band is truly the definition of that genre. With incredibly complex and fast chord progression and riffs, this band stuns me every time with how amazing all of their songs are, especially "Into Battle." If you're ever looking for music that makes you feel as if you are a Viking soldier in the Netherlands fighting the battle of your life through blood, sweat, and tears, this band will definitely do the trick.

3. Eluveitie

As another band that I have seen live, I was amazed by the sheer beauty of this folk metal music. The way lead singer Chigrel Glanzmann plays the flute and sings, along with other members playing the hurdy gurdy is simply mesmerizing. Must-listen to tracks include "Thousandfold," Inis Mona," and "Everything Remains (As It Never Was)."

4. Rammstein

I was lucky enough to see this famous German band in concert in May of 2012 in Chicago, and it was by far one of the best (if not, the best) concerts I have ever been to. In case you're not familiar with this band (which you should be), Rammstein puts on one of the most visually stimulating and extreme shows in the world, including massive pyrotechnics, eccentric costumes, and even phallic props (which caused the band to be banned from performing in the U.S. previously because of its "inappropriateness.") Not only are their shows amazing to watch live, but if you know their songs, you will love chanting out the German lyrics along with the band to songs such as "Du Hast" and "Reise, Reise." Once you become a Rammstein fan, you will stay a Rammstein fan for life.

How To Get Stuff Done

Lately, I've realized that procrastination has become a big issue for college students, even those who normally get good grades, largely due to the so-called "Spring Fever." So here are some tips for how to stay on track and be productive!

1. If you're having trouble concentrating, ask yourself why. Is it because you're hungry?

Get some food! Is it because you're tired? Take a 20-minute power-nap. Is it because you're stressed about other life issues (relationships, financial situation)? Tell yourself that those matters can be dealt with later and that your top priority at that time is to get your work done. If you try to focus on both, you won't get your work done or the other issue solved either.

2. Concentrate for about an hour at a time, and take 15-minute breaks.

I've found this to be super helpful when I'm studying, because even though I have to force myself to focus, I know I'll be able to take a break soon so the time studying doesn't feel as long. During the break time, you can do basically whatever you please - watch some TV, eat, text your friends, or take a quick nap. Doing something other than studying for that short amount of time will make you feel more refreshed once you go back to studying.

3. Drink lots of water

If you're one of those people who has to be doing something other than just sitting at a desk while studying, drinking lots of water is a good alternative because not only will grabbing your water bottle constantly keep you a little occupied, but it will keep you hydrated and awake (make sure it's cold water)

4. Study in a semi-comfortable place.

I've heard many different opinions on where to study - many say you should study in an uncomfortable place in the library with no distractions so as to force yourself to study, but I personally prefer to not sit in an uncomfortable metal chair for hours. While I would definitely not advise studying on your bed, I do think that sitting in a comfy chair or even a couch is a good idea because you can relax your body just enough so that you can focus more on the material instead of being uncomfortable.
I hope these tips work out for everyone!
